I like it, a guild like my previous one will benefit a lot from this.

For the sake of pugging a raid every now and then I quite like the idea - and thank god it's not LFR queue style. We might actually have to play with other people from our realm *gasp*.

Could also proove to be good for non-raiders in the guild, but I do hope they plan to make LFR even less compelling for normal/heroic raiders, so we don't have any reason to go there ever again.

I guess it's pretty beneficial to Openraid.

Openraid would only benefit from this if you could x-realm it at release.

I would hope that if this proves popular we will see the demise of LFR, this will surely foster better communities than LFR. I'm not to impressed that it has a separate lockout from N/HC though

Don't you think that now we will have to run both LFR and this? With LFR dropping almost hc previous tier items, and this dropping items beeing between normal and lfr ilvl, this might drop items that have previous tier hc ilvl. Meaning that you now get/have to do the same raid 3 times a week for a few weeks!! Boy am I excited!!

I do hope they make it same lockout with N and HC, also could mean if we are stuck on a boss on Normal we can just change diffuculty and kill it off.

You don't have to run them you know.. from heroic progression in one tier to the next there should be very few upgrades for any of us to get from 5.4 LFR/Flex.
However at the start of an expansion it is a different story, but then they will probably gate it anyway.
