 Dota 2 Since the beta was released a while back, and it will be free when it's released anyway, has anyone else got Dota 2 yet from steam? If not here it is http://blog.dota2.com/. If anyone played the dota game variant online in warcraft 3 then you know how it works. Also if you played LoL then it's the same thing, since LoL was just a free fan-made dota. From what I played though Dota 2 is better than LoL. If your confused i'm gonna be a dick and post what they stand for now: -Dota (Defense of the Ancients) -LoL (League of Legends)

Re: Dota 2 I have DOTA 2, i haven't played it yet, i only played LoL to about level 10 so I'm effectively a complete noob, regardless i still used to usually own whoever i laned against, mainly because my opposition were complete dimwits.
I'd be tempted to play some DOTA2, if a few us got online together i'd probably be pretty good fun.

Re: Dota 2 DotAfire is an awful website. http://dota2alttab.com/Tends to be more reliable and seemingly updated more often. Also you can't really follow a standard guide for dota, as there is a lot of situations that you need to adapt to.
