 Herald of the Titans at 90 Someone has discovered that its possible to get Herald of the Titans at lvl 90. Apprently the ivl gear check occurs approximately 6-8 seconds after you engage him, if you kill Algalon in less than this time you will get the achievement.
Anyone interested in attempting this tonight?

Re: Herald of the Titans at 90 is that the ilvl AND level check? cause you have to be lvl 80 according to the achievement...

Re: Herald of the Titans at 90 Yes, you must be at lvl 80, but if the check happens 6-8 seconds into the fight, as Winkle suggesting, you may be able to bypass the requirement by killing the boss before that. Now if it is possible to do over 5million raid dps is another thing.
As far as I know, people getting the title by leveling an alt to 80 and gearing him with level 90s friends. A full raid of level 80s geared with BiS appropriate for the Achievement can simple destroy Algalon.

Re: Herald of the Titans at 90 He has 8mil hp on 10man, you have to 1.3m dps for 6 seconds or 130k dps each for 6 seconds, that's basically achievable for every class. It checks both ilvl and lvl after 6-8 seconds. http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/126 ... s-level-90
